Flying Over Kagoshima Bay

Kagoshima Bay is formed from two gigantic submerged volcanic calderas. These volcanic areas are still active and feed much smaller volcanos like Sakurajima.

    It’s always exciting being in the vicinity of active volcanoes. It adds a touch of excitement knowing that, while probably safe, there is that remote chance that something “exciting” might happen.
