First time bargaining with a Japanese taxi driver

Used a taxi to get from Tokyo to my next hotel. Unfortunately my driver to the wrong route and was very apologetic and didn't want to charge me a fare. Though free was a bit unfair to him and bargianed to pay at least something.

    An interesting form of barter where the customer argues to pay more. It would be a revelation in Bangkok!
