Taiyaki

Taiyaki is a fish shaped snack usually filled with red bean bust other fillings such as custard are also common. Its shape and name come from the Sea Bream which is called tai in Japanese. Tai are also seen as good fortune in Japanese culture probably due to their red colour.

    Have tried them at the all you can eat Japanese restaurant in Bendigo. I quite enjoy them.
